In a review meeting on the functioning of ACB here, he said the state government would support ACB in curbing corruption, an official press release from the Chief Minister's Office here said.
The Chief Minister agreed to sanction one new Special Court to deal with (ACB) cases, in Rajahmundry and shifting of an existing court from Hyderabad to Kurnool for the convenience of the complainants and witnesses.
He also agreed to provide necessary technical and logistic assistance to ACB to enable it to function more efficiently.
It was decided that the registration value and not the market value would be taken into account while calculating the value of seized disproportionate assets.
The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the good work being done by the bureau and asked its Director General and other officials to go in full steam to curb corruption in the state and speed up investigations.
He said, ''while the corrupt should be trapped and punished, innocents should not be harassed.'' He said by and large, the state government employees were honest and hard working.
