Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy had warned the State Government that he would go on a hunger strike if farmers’ problems aren’t addressed immediately. Jagan made this statement at a rally in Bandar today.
Jagan, strengthened by the presence of M.L.A. Perni Nani, pointed that his dad Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy had promised nine hours of power supply to ryots. However, the governments formed after his dad’s demise had broken the promises. If the promises of his dad wouldn’t be kept, Jagan warned that he will go on a hunger strike for 48 hours on December 21st and 22nd.
Incidentally, Jagan’s speech came a touch late. Vijayawada M.P. Lagadapati Rajagopal had created some drama on the same problem in Parliament today evening. It seems that the politicians of the state suddenly want to address all the problems of Andhra Pradesh farmers.
