Santhosh Sivan to direct Mahesh Babu

Cinematographer turned director Santhosh Sivan, who directed the biggest multi-starrer Malayalam flick Urimi will soon wield the megaphone for a new film with Super Star Mahesh Babu in the lead.

The director is said to be currently working on the English version of Urimi while the original version cast includes Genelia, Vidya Balan, Tabu, Nithya Menon, Prabhu Deva, Prithvi Raj, Arya. When journalists posed a question on why he isn’t directing any Telugu films, Santhosh Sivan replied that he will direct a movie with Mahesh Babu soon. He further said that he wasn’t offered any Telugu film by any producers.
