The hottest topic in the cine circuit is Nayantara converting herself from Christianity to Hinduism officially. From now on, she would no longer be known as Diana Mariam Kurian. She will be called as Nayantara only. It is heard that Nayan flew from Kochi to Chennai to take part in the process.

This happened at an Arya Samaj temple and Nayan performed the homam, chanted vedic hymns and mantras.

Speaking about it, Nayan revealed that she did it with pure conviction and it was a conscious decision which came straight from her heart.

She also revealed how she stayed away from Non-Veg while doing the role of Goddess Seeta in her new movie ‘Sreerama Rajyam’.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife that Nayan is gearing up for her marriage with Prabhu Deva soon and the venue could be Mumbai.

However, when asked about that, the starlet in her usual style said ‘no comments’. For now, many are impressed with Nayan for following her heart.
