Rating: 2.25/5

Story:

The story of the movie is very simple. Naga Chaitanya is fun loving NRI lad who busts a illegal trafficking racket and gets in to trouble with local don and the movie is all about how they try to take revenge on him. There is also an impressive love track running parallel to it.

Performances:

This is not a proud effort from Naga Chaitanya. He had been improving since his first movie Josh to 100% love. But this time his performance levels took a dip. There is no positive energy in him and that reflected in every frame of the movie. On a brighter side, He put in a significant effort in dances and stunt.

This is the worst ever character played by Kajal in recent times. her new look did not look appealing. Chinmayi who gave her voice for Samantha in Yem Maaya chesave dubbed for Kajal in this movie which looked entirely absurd. Also this is Kajal’s most glamourous performance till date.

Rahul dev, Kelly dorjee are good as baddies. There are almost all notable comedians in the movie – Brahmanadham, Dharmavarapu, Ali, Venu Madhav but the comedy did not work out in any frame.

Analysis:

Opening scene ‘inspired’ by Casino Royale.

Bhoome Gundranga first song is shot well, dances well, is ‘fine’.

Productions values are rich with nice cinematography.

Kajal introduction very classy.

Godava Godava second song, very neatly picturized.

Mini flashbacks in an ongoing digression. Result more boring.

Another well shot song that’s part of an ongoing digression.

Anonther "inspiration’ a fight inspired by last Sherlock Holmes film.

Comedy by Brahmanandam is yawning.

‘Jokers scar’ stories replaced by ‘broken leg’ stories for villain Rahul Dev. Another ‘inspiration’.

Good interesting beginning after interval.

Good song, beautiful picturization but was it necessary.

Even 3G boost at this point will only make it seem ‘slow’.

Its DSP’s show all the way. Unfortunately for him not the right film.

Ajay Bhuyan can be a great videographer, shoots his songs really well. But film making ?

Plus:
+Cinematography
+Songs

Minus:
-Rerecording
-Flashbacks
-Direction
-Drag in 2-half

Final Word:

Dhada’s fate will depend upon Kandireega which releases tomorrow. All in all, a let down for Chaitanya after the success of 100% love
