Ace comedian AVS is going to make produce and direct a film titled ‘2012 Kompakolleru’. In a press meet organized at Film Chamber today AVS spoke about his film career and later briefed about the details of the film.

He said, “I started my film journey on September 7th1992 and did 500 films till date. I thank Bapu garu and Ramana garu for my entry into films. My first film was NTR’s ‘Srinatha Kavi Saarvabhouma’. But my first release was ‘Mr Pellam’ after which I continued to act in films and turned director and then producer as well. But the films I produced did not fetch me any success. I hope this year will bring good luck to me. As an actor I am committed to good films. I continued in the film industry even though I changed my track. There are many who encouraged me as well as discouraged me in the film industry. As a director, I’m not happy because I could not succeed by directing a film like ‘Kothimooka’. But then, I worked hard for 6 months to prepare the script of ‘2012 Kompakolleru’. I am planning to launch this film in February. I’m looking forward for one producer who can promote this film after its completion.”
