Jobs, power, prices, poverty are the usual list of concerns that ordinary citizens of any
state have. But more so A.P, here is why. Our leaders are already acting like a state divided. And therefore we are looked upon as a state weakened. Just take a look at our immediate neighbours in the map. Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are beating us hollow in every round – be it in
private investments or government projects. To this fearsome threesome, Orissa has joined the list, with its Hon C M stating that he does not want “one single
Adivasi hamlet to be inundated with Polavaram.” Where was this gentleman when YSR was alive? Today, are our 33 MP’s in any mood to show a united face and ask Delhi for any sizeable investment for any region in the state? How are we going to get our due share of central investments if our government is only concerned about which family is Jagan going to console next? Whose problem is Jagan anyway? Why are our leaders fretting and fuming over his odarpu yatra? Why can’t they think of consoling the innumerable families that are suffering due to lack of healthcare, power and education?
