The TRS MLA, Mr T. Harish Rao, claimed that jobs in the NTR health university, which is located near Vijayawada, are being filled by people from the Seema-Andhra regions.
“Like JNTU, NTR Health University should also be trifurcated and a branch opened in Hyderabad. Nims and other prestigious institutions deny key and other posts to locals. The post of registrar should be given to a person from Telangana," he demanded.
Mr Rao threatened to stall appointments from other regions if the TRS’s demand was not met.
“The top post of NIMS director, which is to fall vacant soon, should be given to a person from Telangana. All the key posts here have been taken away by Seema-Andhra people. The government should ensure 42 per cent reservations,” he demanded further.
