A Pakistani teenager, who crossed the Indo-Pak border to meet his relatives here, was apprehended by Border Security Force, police said today.

Savaji Rawata Meghwal (13) was apprehended by the BSF near Santalpur taluka in Patan on Saturday. Meghwal told police that he had five maternal uncles living in border town Tharad here, and in 2007 one of his uncles had visited him at Kavva village in Tharparkar district of Pakistan.

He who was handed over to the police by BSF. Police said his motive was only to meet his uncles living in Tharad''s Shivanagar colony. "The boy is a minor but we have to go by the law of the land and action will be taken as per the rules," Patan SP Anupam Singh Gehlot said.
