If you ask any person in India that which is the most popular and rewarding job in India then he or she will definitely tell Civil Services i.e IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS etc. In these jobs there is not only prestige, good status in society but also relatively very high salary, perks and other benefits. Now the question comes, how difficult is to crack the civil services examination? There is no doubt that the Indian Civil Services Examination is one of the most competitive, difficult and rigorous examinations in the world.

Candidates must complete a three-phase process, with a success rate of about 0.1 percent of the total applicants:
  • Phase I: Civil Services Exam (Preliminary) – A qualifying test held in May every year.
  • Phase II: Civil Services Exam (Main) – Main test, held in October/November every year.
  • Phase III: Interview – Held in April/May every year.
