Today, CAT 2010 advertisement has been published in the leading Indian newspapers. It has provided almost all the main details regarding CAT 2010. It is scheduled to be held during the period Wednesday 27 Oct. to Wednesday 24 Nov 2010. The CAT 2010 vouchers can be obtained from selected Axis Bank branches between Monday, 30 August – Monday, 27 September 2010 for Rs. 1400/- (Rs. 700/- for SC/ST candidates). Online registrations are open from Monday, 30 August 2010 – Thursday, 30 September 2010. The online CAT 2010 Exam will be a two and a half hour paper including a 15 minute tutorial. It will consist of 60 questions distributed over 3 sections viz. QA, VA & DILR. CAT 2010 results will be declared on 12 January 2011 on the website www.catiim.in.CAT 2010 Test Paper Pattern ::
The duration of the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes including initial 15 minute tutorial. No breaks will be given during the test. The test consists of questions that evaluate a candidate’s quantitative, verbal, and logical & data interpretation abilities. Therefore, there are a total of three sections in the test. There will be about 60 questions in the test. At the test venue, each candidate will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and he/she will be provided with a scratch paper for calculations. After the test, candidate must leave the scratch paper at the desk. Rough work cannot be done on any other paper/sheet, as nothing will be allowed inside the testing room
